Shellsburg American Legion Fish Fry April 22
The Shellsburg American Legion will have its annual Spring Fish Fry on Friday, April 22 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The event will be our usual All You Can Eat with Dine In or Carry Out.The meal will be include: Fish, Baked Potato, Salad Bar, Cup Cakes for dessert
Vinton Public Library featuring Librarian for Blind and Print Disabled, April 12
Special Storytime at Vinton Public Library on Tuesday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m.!Denise Bean, the Youth Services Librarian at the Iowa Library for the Blind & Print Disabled, will lead an interactive storytime for children of all abilities. On Monday, May 2 the Friends of the Center Point Library and the Center Point Historical Society will host a Free program entitled, "Prohibition in Eastern Iowa." Wesley United Methodist Church in Vinton will be holding their annual BIG rummage sale on Friday, May 6th from 8:30 – 3 and Saturday, May 7th from 9-11. The church is located at 516 2nd Ave, by the library. The sale is free-will donation and the profits go to mission projects. Mark your calendars!
Garrison 1st Responders Annual Spaghetti Dinner & Auction April 2
Join the Garrison 1st Responder for their annual Spaghetti Dinner & Auction on April 2nd! Doors open at 5 pm. Dinner served at 5:30 pm. Silent auction until 6:30 pm. Live Auction at 7 pm.Adults $10 Children 12 & Under $5Funds raised will be used for training as well as supply and equipment updates.
Van Horne First Responders Annual Breakfast Fundraiser Sunday, April 3
Van Horne First Responders will be holding their Annual Breakfast Fundraiser. The event will be held on Sunday, April 3 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Van Horne Emergency Response Station. The menu consists of Scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, juice and milk. The service will be dine-in or carry-out for a freewill offering.
